Experience Charleston hospitality at its best and most elegant!

A special, ticketed event has been arranged for attendees of the Southern Chapter / Medical Library Association meeting in Charleston. The doors of some of Charleston’s most beautiful homes and gardens will be open just for us on Wednesday evening.

We will begin at 1 Vendue Range, at the penthouse condominium of Charleston’s newest and most prestige residence. We will be offered champagne on the rooftop garden that overlooks the Waterfront Park and the Charleston Harbor.

From there we will walk through the French Quarter, past the French Huguenot Church and the Dock Street Theatre, the oldest theater in America. Our next stop is a lovely home on King Street, below Broad. Completely renovated by the current owners, it is a wonderful example of how an older home can provide a comfortable contemporary environment.

We will travel from there to LeGare Street, one of the most interesting streets in all of Historic Charleston. We will have the privilege of touring three private homes, built between 1760 and 1820, all beautifully appointed

The finale of our tour is 5 LeGare, an exquisitely decorated home with lovely collections and works of art. Our host there will offer us drinks and an elegant buffet of heavy hors d’oeuvres in his garden.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see these private homes and gardens. Don’t miss it!

Tickets cost $45, which includes all beverages and heavy hors d’oeuvres. This is an incredible deal! Purchase your tickets NOW via Conference Acteva Registration. As we are touring private homes, the number of tickets is limited.
